When you make a purchase, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment details are processed directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. When a fisherman lists their catch, we collect their name, email, port, and business information to facilitate transactions and payouts.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process and fulfill your order
• To send order confirmation and pickup/delivery details
• To notify fishermen of new orders
• To process payouts to fishermen via Stripe Connect
• To improve the DockDirect platform

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to operate the platform:

• Stripe — payment processing and fisherman payouts. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — database hosting in the United States.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure.

4. Data Retention

We retain order records for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your personal data by emailing dockdirectfish@gmail.com.

5. Cookies

DockDirect does not use tracking cookies. We use only essential session functionality required to operate the checkout flow.
